Tao Zhi General Jar Bed Again it is a modern

Again it is a modern design - the Chinese did not use chests of drawers as we did in the west until quite recently - but the classic frame and panel joinery and circular brass handles are typical of traditional Chinese furniture

This is a slightly larger version of our Bedside Cabinet in the same range

Handcrafted from reclaimed elm wood this black lacquer corner cabinet is a great way to make the best use of space in a room

wider version of our Ming chest of drawers has a real sense of understated oriental style

Note that these lanterns are made by hand and that dimensions can vary very slightly

Tao Zhi General Jar Bed Again it is a modernPart of the Ashmolean Collection, this traditional ceramic general jar has a wide rimmed lid and is decorated with red peaches against branches in cobalt blue. The jar is inspired by the design on a Qing dynasty vase which is on display at The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
