Shunga Japanese Erotic Art Giclee Print Hand Painting On Silk 10.5" X 7.5" #11 Bowls documents and other precious itemsThis is a reproduction Shunga print of a Japanese Taisho era c. 1920 hand painting on silk. Shunga or "Spring Art" such as this was outlawed throughout Japan for centuries but persisted even by the very most famous artists, though typically created anonymously, given the high demand. It is the same size as the original measuring about 10" x 7. 5". This is a gicle print. It is from a very high resolution scan of the original print in our collection
