Black Beauty Eggplant - Solanum Melongena - 100 Seeds Baby veg The seed must be in" Derived from Asia, the eggplant which is often called the brinjal is a favourite breakfast dish in the west. It is extremely popular in the Middle East and Mediterranean. The black beauty is possibly the most common variety with a dark purple colour. The fruits are not as pear shaped as other varieties. It regularly has a stitched effect along the base, which whilst looking like a deformity does not affect the fruit. "
