Large abstract painting in oil, Paris, mid-century pedestal including hardware and locksA luminous mid 20th century abstract painting in oil, Paris, composed of layered geometric forms in soft ochres, burgundy, and blush on a textured ground. The play of light and shadow suggests motion and depth within a restrained palette. Signed lower right with a stylized monogram. Elegantly framed and evocative of postwar European abstraction. This also works well hung horizontally. Dimensions: Height 57. 5 Width 37. 75 Depth 1. 75
