Swirls Entwined autumn These hardy perennials grow in

These hardy perennials grow in my Colorado high alpine garden

creating cyanotypes from the plants around me

and I'd continue to work on it

Even the kids seemed alien as they clustered into cliques by some unknown method

surrounded with a white 14″ x 11″ acid-free mat board

Swirls Entwined autumn These hardy perennials grow inMixed media (acrylic, paper, and gold leaf) 18" x 14" on stretched canvas The four paintings in my Swirls Series illustrate the daily lives of those (the twisting, streaming swirls) living in the rigid, gridded land of New York City. Swirls Entwined has a musical quality with the elements entwined in counterpoint. These swirls are two powerful dancers performing a pas de deux at Lincoln Center.
