渋滞の解けた車が徐々に車間距離［Following Distance］を広げ、最後には散り散りになっていくように、ここに並ぶ7枚のイメージはそれぞれ遠くまで行く予定があります。編集者・井手裕介が撮影した各国方々の写真は、一度彼の手から離れ・編み直され、このポストカード・ブックがつくられました。 写真と距離について話すとき、ポストカードほど雄弁なものはありません。本書は、2025年末に刊行された井手裕介による写真集『distance』からイメージを抜き出して制作されたポストカード・ブックです。蛇腹折りの、折り目はミシン目になっているので手で切り取れます。編集・出版は古物らの店〈Goods〉、レイアウトは石塚俊による。シークエンス（写真の並び）違いで2種類ありますが、収録写真は同じです。
