Autumn Memories holiday • Square shape

• Square shape

mounted on white 14″ x 11″ acid-free mat board

It reminds me of being in a crowded dance club with all the patrons competing to be heard

I'm seeing subtle environmental changes daily

I printed a layer of dark ink to make their colorful watercolored wings glow

Autumn Memories holiday • Square shapeMixed media (acrylic, paper, and ink) 20" x 20" on cradled birch panel Autumn Memories, a 1970s retro style geometric art painting in avocado green, harvest gold, and burnt orange. The colors remind me of my kitchen growing up in California. Doesn't it make you want to go out into the crisp fall air and jump into a big pile of leaves? Or play touch football in the front yard before the big Thanksgiving feast?
