I decided to make the original buckle the top of the necklace and each of the seven segments below has a pretty delicate stamped design possibly to imitate cut steel

I took off some of the goldwork and coiled into small medallions

but they did and I finished the piece off with some turquoise edging

Badge Necklace Toys A very relaxed and laidI do love a badge. It's the clear cut designs and shapes that appeal so much. I decided to embellish this one with a brass button and a dropper found in a gifted box of treasure. I have finished the pendant off with black beads and it hangs from a brass and blue bead necklace. It is pictured here with a small horse and rider brooch which is available as a separate listing.
